Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility & Account Registration

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to register on the Platform.
• Registration requires a mobile number, verified via a one-time password (OTP) delivered by SMS or WhatsApp, or sign-up via Google Sign-In.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate, current information at registration and keep it up to date.

2. Identity Verification (KYC)

To publish a listing or place a bid, you must complete identity verification through our verification partner, Didit, which requires a government-issued ID and a live selfie/video capture. We do not publish or sell your verification documents; see the Privacy Policy for how this data is handled.

3. Listings, Requirements (RFQs) & Quotes

• Sellers may publish listings describing goods or services they offer, including a price or an "on request" pricing basis.
• Buyers may post a requirement (RFQ) describing what they need; matched sellers may respond with a quote.
• Scrap listings may use a bidding mechanism to gather offers; this does not involve any transfer of funds through the Platform.
• All prices shown are informational and set by the User who posts them. Cable Connect does not verify, guarantee, or become a party to any resulting transaction.
• Once a buyer and seller connect, all negotiation, contracting, payment, delivery, and after-sales terms are agreed and carried out directly between them, entirely outside the Platform. Cable Connect has no involvement in, and no liability for, the outcome of any such transaction.

4. Usage Limits

Certain actions (for example, posting a job listing or requesting a sample) are subject to a free monthly usage allowance on your account. This is an anti-abuse and fair-use measure, not a paid subscription — Cable Connect does not currently charge for access to the Platform.

5. Community Feed & User-Generated Content

The Platform includes a community feed and direct messaging between users. You are solely responsible for the content you post or send. You must not post content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, harassing, or otherwise objectionable.

Community posts and comments can be reported for review using the in-app report control. We may remove content, or suspend or terminate an account, that violates these Terms, at our discretion and without prior notice where the violation is serious.

6. Job Postings & Consultations

Employers may post job listings and job seekers may apply through the Platform. Consultations booked through the Platform are free of any Cable Connect fee; where a video call is used, it is conducted via Google Meet. Cable Connect is not a party to, and takes no responsibility for, any employment or consulting relationship formed through the Platform.

7. Prohibited Conduct

• Impersonating another person or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent listings, quotes, or requirements.
• Uploading content that infringes another party's intellectual property or other rights.
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing another user.
• Attempting to circumvent, disable, or interfere with the security or proper functioning of the Platform.
• Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose, or in a manner that violates any applicable law or regulation.

8. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by or licensed to Cableconnect and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content you post, and grant us a limited licence to host, display, and distribute it on the Platform for the purpose of operating the service.

9. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or unlawful conduct, or posed a risk to other users or the Platform. You may stop using the Platform, and request deletion of your account, at any time — see the Privacy Policy for how to do this.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any listing, quote, or other content posted by a User, and we do not guarantee that any transaction facilitated by a connection made on the Platform will be completed or will be satisfactory.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cableconnect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Platform, or from any transaction or dispute between Users, since Cable Connect is not a party to any such transaction.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cableconnect, its officers, employees, and agents from any claim, loss, or liability arising from your use of the Platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
